Editing on Final Cut Pro

To edit our film we used Final Cut Pro which at first showed impossible as we had no idea on how to use the software but once we knew the basics to cut and piece our film together we learnt that experimenting with the software would give us endless possibilities to create different effects for our film. We also used research how to change specific effects in which we wanted to use to create a horror feeling to our film to do this we ended up lowering the saturation of the colours to create a dull, uneasy feeling. Along with this we also lowered the brightness to create a darker scene allowing the audience to only see specific items which complimented the saturation.
Another problem with Final Cut Pro was when it came to piecing all the clips together as you can see from the image above you had to constantly render the selections otherwise the film would not play straight through. This occurred every time we wanted to change lighting, add effects and even cut cutting the clips together.
